Καλείστε στο έργο του ΝΙΚΟΛΑΙ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΕΒΙΤΣ ΓΚΟΓΚΟΛ "ΤΟ ΗΜΕΡΟΛΟΓΙΟ ΕΝΟΣ ΤΡΕΛΟΥ" σε σκηνοθεσία και θεατρική ερμηνεία του Πέτρου Χριστοφίδη, από τις 24 Απριλίου 2009 έως και 31 Μαΐου 2009. Όλες οι παραστάσεις αρχίζουν κάθε Παρασκευή & Σάββατο στις 8μμ και Κυριακή στις 7μμ.

The Greek Cultural Center in Astoria presents a production written by NIikolai Vasilievich Gogol, directed by Petros Christofidis " The Diary of a Madman". Opening on April 24th, with English supertitles, every Friday, Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 7:00pm.

Gogol’s Diary of a Madman, stands out as the greatest exposure of the pretensions of bourgeois politicians, professorettes and bureaucrats, as well as the perversion of civilization. It is a painting of a man’s soul, which was indirectly forced to deal with all the prefabricated significances of modern civilisation. A soul that is gradually confusing the boundaries of what Is and what Isn’t. Driven by his restless need to exist, in a world based on the law of men in positions and power.
